I Will Note...

That my Linux box, Yurie, running identical hardware to my Vista box, Haruhi, has not missed a beat.  No application or system crashes, no untowards errors (except that it detected and reported a problem with NCQ on my Western Digital drives).  Just smooth sailing.

That's why you don't EVER name a computer after a fickle, petulant, headstrong, tsundere-goddess.

Or after Haruhi, either.

2 Well, the current servers are Midori and Aoi, who are relatively peaceful if a bit weird.  (If we take them from Midori no Hibi and Ai Yori Aoshi respectively.)  But for some reason they don't seem significantly more reliable than Kei and Yuri or Akane and Nabiki...

I once ran a cluster of Sun servers named Urd, Belldandy, Skuld, Peorth and Mara.  Now that's asking for trouble!  (The London office had a Sun E10K called Inferno with domains named Sloth, Gluttony, Avarice and so on.)
