    They say they're not, but they also say:
    These are Tibetan yaks, designed and cloned in secretive labs more than 4,000 meters above sea level, where researchers hope to create an "elite" herd of super-yaks, healthier and more fertile than their predecessors.
    I do not trust them.

1 That 28.9M parameter LLM on an $8 microcontroller is the detail that stuck with me - the interesting frontier is not bigger models but how small you can go and still be useful. We hit the same wall on the video side building Ravvi: generation quality is fine, it is the inference cost per output that decides whether a feature ships. Also fully agree on the border phone advice.
