1 I like Qwant, but use DDG more often. I do not not like the case of that microsoft computer. I've finally started installing Linux distros under virtual box, and I'm not seeing why I migrate to windows 11. I still have years of arrested development in computer skills to catch up on, if I do catch up.

2 So, Microsoft has "optimized the Windows 11 experience for developers", they say? Three paragraphs later: they ported corutils and shoved AI into the terminal app. One baby step forward, six giant leaps back.

3 J:  The AI-ified terminal app is (currently) an optional install and also looks like it's a side-by-side for the regular one, as opposed to a replacement.  Currently.

4 What it basically says is that the people who thought adding AI to Notepad was a good idea are still pursuing the same goals. They've learned nothing.

6 yeah, the recreational psychotropic substances in the redmond water supply are apparently causing a massive level of impairment. (Okay, yes, I actually do know that it isn't LSD, cocaine, and racemic off-brand SSRIs, merely them being high on ideas.)
