  • Binance's Trust Wallet Chrome extension turned out to be misnamed.  (Web3isGoingGreat)

It got hacked - from the inside, a so-called supply chain attack where a developer's system is compromised and used to slip malware into critical applications - and users lost $7 million.

Binance has updated the extension and will reimburse users who lost money due to the attack.

1 I don't think I should buy a windows laptop. I don't think I can commit other users to Linux, but I am skeptical of buying a windows 11 laptop in the future. Mainly, I buy few computers, and I am unsure why I should not be able to use my current desktops until the caps go bad.

2 (got fleebs again)
I mentioned I bought a Windows ARM laptop this fall.  I actually like it; it works pretty well except that I wish a 32GB version had been available.  (I wonder if it's possible to do a desoldering RAM replacement on these?)
My Minisforum mini pc has OCulink and I might get a cheap dock and see how it games at some point; if it does well it might be the start of me moving away from full-size desktops.

3 It might be time to turn off comments on Wonderduck's site--it's full of spam.

5 Yeah, CD Project ran into the same issue that Stardock had when they sold their digital game retail service (RIP) - even though being a digital game retailer was profitable, it was also distracting them from being a game developer/publisher.  Also, given how large the catalog of games and developer/publishers being offered by GoG is now, there was conflict of interest issues CD Project was running into they did prefer not to deal with (Whereas both Valve and Epic just plain do not give a crap - and are large enough to get away with it.).

Right now, the only reason why I am looking for a Win11 machine is because I am unfortunately in the market for a gaming laplop, and that railroad into Win11.  Otherwise, I prefer going for older Win10 machines, especially any that are old enough to still have an optical drive.

Apple pies are delicious. But never mind apple pies. What colour is a green orange?
