yeah. I really am not impressed with the 'we have to do it for national prestige' and national scale stuff. I'm a nationalist, but machine changes have to make sense individually. If bad marketing means I don't use soemthing, or if I don't have the ability to use the new machine efficiently, as well or better than the old machine, it does not matter what valuation we officially assign the new machine.

It's inspiring to see that AI coding assistants have become so sophisticated that they can emulate Overly Attached Girlfriend, to the point of taking down the server with their obsessive need to connect.
