It's been on my list for ages, and so far it looks like a damn good choice to break my anime dry spell.
Watching on Crunchyroll because AnimeLab got taken over by Funimation and we all know what happened to Funimation.

I'm still pissed about CR pulling the week-late-free option just before this last season started. No part of the service they provide entices me enough to pay for it, so now I just don't go there anymore.

Pretty sure I learned about Tanya a few months ago from you. Found it on Crunchyroll and watched it - and it's followups - in short order.
I found Tanya totally cute and the artwork very impressive. But, looking back, it seemed to me that I kept thinking there was a deeper story underneath and was waiting for it to unfold.
Or, maybe there was and I just didn't see it.

It does appear that they are laying the groundwork for something deeper, but there's no significant payoff yet.
A second season was announced to be in the works last year, so we'll see what happens.
