A story of fairies, princesses, fairy princesses, and murder.
Eleven little princesses practising their Zen;
One reached nirvana and then there were ten.
Ten little princesses working down the mine;
Someone dropped the dynamite and there were only nine.
Nine little princesses discussing church and state;
Revolution caught them unawares and then there were eight.
Eight little princesses staring up at heaven;
Not watching where they put their feet and whoops! there were seven.
Seven little princesses in their palace all of bricks;
One fell down the garderobe and there were only six.
Six little princesses stealing honey from the hive;
The bees found one was just too sweet and then there were five.
Five little princesses enter by the door;
One left by the window, leaving only four.
Four little princesses as bright as bright could be;
One was on fire, and there were only three.
Three little princesses wondering what to do;
One thought up a bright idea and left only two.
Two little princesses each armed with a gun;
Walked ten paces, turned, and fired...
And then there were none.
