VGA ports are getting scarce enough that this isn't much of a problem. If you have a projector or something that takes VGA, attach an HDMI adaptor to it and just leave it there.

AI needs non-AI data to learn from. If you feed it data generated by AI, it focuses on specific facts to the exclusion of reality - patterns in the learning algorithm reinforce patterns in the previous generation of output - leading to a state called model collapse where it goes insane.
And the internet is flooded with AI slop, so filtering it out at this point is prohibitively expensive.

Given that you can't copyright AI generated slop, there's a definite motivation to diguise the fact, so these companies don't even realise they're already feeding their models with AI-genreated slop. To say nothing of the other myriad of assumptions underlying the dumpster fire.

Guys,
What if it is a bad idea to hire a bunch of corporate executives who happen to maybe have family or intelligence contacts in the PRC, at the same time that the PRC is possibly melting down internally because of late states of communist regime failures.
Totalitarian regimes going extra nuts are going to tend to drive the people under the thumb og the regimes a bit nuts from the consequent stress.
And, not only the PRC is in possible trouble from Trump, there is also the EU.
Anyway there is a sensible grand unified theory of industries in the past several years, which is that they are fucked, because they hired a bunch of people who are communists and who are afraid of Trump, and have trouble psychologically adjusting to someone so far outside of their expecations.
Simple, makes sense, fits the data, and since it involves human behavior it is a theory that is probably also wrong.
