In order to join a Village one must register ones new character as a main or an alt.
My main character is already registered as such but when I try to register my new one as an alt nothing happens and I'm locked out of the villages.
I went through everything multiple times and I'm confidant enough that it's not a PEBKAC error that I sent a bug report.
