Not Remotely Tech News

Got dizzy after a shower, slipped and fell, and took a minute to collect myself and get up again.  Dried off, got dressed, found my glasses (which had landed in the bathtub), and took my blood pressure.

Almost normal.  Down to 141/83.  I suspect it dropped a little too much, and then I did.

I'll monitor and talk to my doctor about the dosage on my blood pressure meds.

Anime Update

Clevatess: The bad guys are not as smart as they think they are, and the good guys are not as dumb as we think they are.  Things are rapidly coming to a head, the city is on fire, headless kings are walking, so here's a huge flashback to fill in the main villain's backstory.

1 Axl Rose humorous mention: gal posted an early pic of him and wished she could meet a guy like that. Axl posted a reply saying here I am. She responded with Go away you loser.

2 Maybe we should invest that $300 billion in catgirls instead.

4 AI: will fuck up your searches and lie about trivial bullshit. Catgirls: will suddenly claw you while sitting in your lap and demand treats all the time. That's a tough one, but if it takes 300 bjllion or so, I think the catgirls are worth it.

5 In the hope of making you feel a bit better, here's a new build I put together with the Amelia Watson case: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/26Dqqs
I wouldn't have even known that case existed without your mentioning it. So please don't ever underestimate your impact on global commerce.

7 If the BP issues are new, they can take a while to sort out. Today I only have problems when I don't take the meds or I double dose myself. I have developed some methods to make sure I don't do either over the past few years.

8 Possibly the Oracle thing is just the rest of the world replacing Windows 10 en masse with oracle linux and or with windows 10 running in virtual box on oracle linux. Since I am probably uniquely insane, and haven't gotten any of those working yet (I am lazy and stupid), I would guess that ORacle is somehow profiting from an AI bubble, while avoiding the hazard of a strong investment in that space. But Microsoft can go frustrate itself, and the rest of the big AI companies can go frustrate themselves. I think neural nets have legit applications, and it'll be a shame if bubblers crash the market for the real legitimate research, but the status quo is a bit seemingly insane.

Apple pies are delicious. But never mind apple pies. What colour is a green orange?
