Would an option to trash anything with, say, >10% CJKV or high-bit ASCII characters (saw one of the latter at ACE this a.m.) be workable?

Things aren't quite cleaned up at Brickmuppets. A bunch of his posts show as having comments on his front page, but when you click to open the comments there's nothing there. Seems like a database inconsistency.

Looks like the same 4 comments got spammed up and down Avatar's main page, but in his case the filter caught them. However, the comments hidden by the spam filter still show up in the comment count on the main page.

I did a bulk spam zap via SQL instead of through Minx; that left the comment counts out of whack. I have a little script that fixes that, though.

It's almost enough for me to re-consider OOTS as one of favourites (whence it was kicked out for the Miko debacle). Erfworld is quite awesome. There were some hippy hang-ups, e.g. the Magic Kingdom scene, but I pretended that the message was too subtle for me to notice.
