1 IIRC that 3000W power supply, to be usable in the US, would require you to plug into two different circuits.

2 Or just unplug your clothes dryer.  For what it's worth, that also won't run off a standard Australian outlet (230V 10A).

3 IIRC American regular 120V circuits are normally limited to 1500W or so due to the standard circuit breaker, so same situation as you but different numbers.
