Guess the anime:
This is one of the first mainstream anime series about incest — here, a romantic relationship between siblings — to be widely marketed in the U.S.(From Wikipedia)

Yes, I saw Koi Kaze not long ago. My verdict is that it’s a beautiful story about a very ugly subject. I’m glad it got made, but I hope it’s not a trend.

Now that I think about it, brother-sister incest is one of the more common themes in anime and manga. It must have to do with the large number of single-child families - as they point out in Genshiken, brother-sister incest is the favored kink of only children for the most part. Those who actually have little sisters usually know better.

"Utena has three, count 'em, three brother-sister pairings of varying degrees of ickiness."
Ah, true, but the show is not about the incest... that's a side-issue. Twins, which I did NOT claim was the first (I just wondered if it would fall into the category), is entirely driven by the possibility of incest.
Having typed that, I wonder why I like the show... it SOUNDS icky as all get-out.
