So in some versions of fantasy roleplaying rulesets, Druids get a spell that revives a deceased character as another race.
Related, in the real world mythology, a Japanese Oni is maybe pretty similar to a European ogre archetype.
There's a Korean critter that at times gets translated goblin. However, in translating lore to fantasy roleplaying mechanics, one could argue for being closer to an ogre, or an ogre mage.
So I am kinda segueing to some sort of awakened novel bullshit plotline, perhaps involving Chaebols and an obscenely greedy nepo baby. but, mostly I have not had enough good quality sleep, and am really bad at creative writing.

The larch? Well, I was close - I guessed it was the fat between the ears of our Left Wing overlords.
