  • Large Language Models can generate valid JSON 100% of the time.  (Hacker News)

If you install a plugin that smacks the LLM over the head with a ruler any time it tries to emit a character that would make the output invalid.

It's like lining up an infinite number of monkeys and shooting all the ones that aren't typing out Hamlet.  Yes, it works in theory, but what are you going to do with all the dead monkeys?

1 "but what are you going to do with all the dead monkeys?"   what I usually do with them, put them over there with all the dead scary clowns of course, and if I have to shoot some mimes, do I have to use a silencer?

2 A reddit review of the GTR7 says it supports USB PD.  I agree, a unique power cord is less than ideal; I'd probably try to buy a second one with the unit if I wanted one of these (and if I didn't already get my little i5-1235u mini PC a few months ago I probably would've gotten one of these.)

3 Reading further down that reddit post, I see that if you use USB, you're limited to 45W instead of 65.  (The 7840/7940 are normally limited to 35/45W, but Beelink feeds them MOAH POWAH to make them run faster, boosting them beyond similar mini PCs.  That means you'd lose that extra oomph if you used USB PD, though.)

4 As an aside, I broke down and bought a Galaxy Tab S9 this weekend (conveniently, it just came out this week or so.)  Best Buy had a special where it cost $20 more for the 128GB model than a 256GB S8, and it came with a free "$139 value" keyboard/cover (as well as a copy of McAfee that I declined.)
It's much faster in 3d gaming than my Tab S4, and it supports something like 45W charging--at ~20% charge, "super fast charging 2.0" estimates 1 hour to charge vs regular fast charging (15W?), with a 2 hour estimate.  5A chargers and cables are pretty awesome.

Apple pies are delicious. But never mind apple pies. What colour is a green orange?
