Why did you say six months?
He's coming.
This matters. This is important. Why did you say six months?
Why did you say five minutes?

Damn Pixy,
What cool pictures! I'm thinking about liberating that Pic for my blog (with your permission of course) at least until I come up with something original of my own.

Thank you for Blogging for Kerry! There are too few and far between of us, in the blogging world, or so it seems. Cheers and here's to taking our country back!

You guys are terrific. Evil, but in a very good way!
Poor Brian Killey . . . he'll never be a proofreader.

Point being: The more republicans campaign for Kerry, the less we will have to campaign for ourselves. I'm all in favor of it. ;)
But then again, you probably want four more years of war and recession, huh?
BTW - Since we're on the topic of proofreading, you spelled by last name wrong.

Yes, we evil Republicans are campaigning for Kerry all right..to be President of France. We do not have the time, moral flexibility, or that big of a lack of Islamist terrorists (Trick question: Which man could not call Hamas and Hizbollah "terrorists organizations," George W. Bush or John Kerry?) to elect such a man to be President of the United States. And yes, we are in a war and the only way to end it is to defeat and destroy the bastards who declared war on us, not trying to say "I don't like calling it a "war"."
As for recession...Only if you also thought Bill Clinton was in a recession for his eight years in the White House.
John Kerry for President! (..Of France.)

Addressing the Issues
Between my very high-res monitor (I'm running it at 1792 x 1344) and the small fonts on Ambient Irony, I can still see the entire Munuvian blogroll on screen at once.
Rest assured that we are working tirelessly to address this issue.

I appreciate all of your efforts in affording me a tiny space in which to I might hide from the big bad world and yet have my say. I do so hope I can make all of Munuvia proud of my pathetic blogging efforts.

My Washing Machine
My washing machine goes
clunk clunk clunk,
Clunk clunk clunk,
Clunk clunk clunk.
My washing machine goes clunk clunk clunk,
Clunk clunk clunk clunk
SPLOOSH.
That's a bad sign, right?

I wouldn't worry too much about the clunk clunk clunk - but I's be really afraid of the sploosh!.

Um, yeah. I'd say that's a bad sign.
Unless you've got sneakers in there. Then it's normal.

I think it's toast. What seems to have happened was it was out of balance during the spin cycle, started vibrating, and then one of the castors fell off. That threw it
way out of balance, and something tore loose.
It's been making unhappy noises and leaking a little for the past year, and I think this was just the final straw. It lasted 14 years, so I'm not put out. Much.

I think the unusual actions of your washing machine are the symptoms of a psychological crisis. Perhaps it was traumatised as a child?
Take it to see a psychiatrist for trauma counselling, give it a hug, make it know that it's loved ... and then junk it.

We had a similar experience in our household once. Ours went clunk, clunk, yowl, clunk, yowl. It turned out that the door had been left open and Miss Kitty crawled in amongst the clothes to take a catnap. She went unnoticed a few minutes later when the door was shut and the wash cycle started. I watched the whole episode from behind box of dryer sheets while snacking on a chunk of saltine cracker I had found.

I'd Sooner Be Kinky
You are Thomas L. Friedman! You're the foreign
affairs expert. You're liberal on most issues,
except you're a leading voice in the pro-war
movement. You're probably the most popular
columnist at the Times, but probably because
you play both sides of the Iraq issue and
relish your devotion to what you call
"fanatical moderatism." You sure can
write, but you could work on your sense of
humor.

I love that picture. Is that the one from the workshop in the Nevada desert or the sound stage in Sacramento?
Hehehe. I slay me.
