If you look at at at that on Android it's a train wreck.

They look OK to me (Nexus 5X, 7.1.2 beta), although they're all Android gumdrops, not circles.

I don't have Android 7 yet. I did notice that on Android 6, emojis work better under Firefox than Chrome; no idea what's up with that.

I see what you mean now, just tried on Kit Kat and Marshmallow and a lot of individual glyphs were missing.

My new phone (Moto G4) should get Nougat soon, but all my other Android devices are SOL.
There is an alternative - use an SVG or image library instead of relying on native emoji support - but it's a royal pain in the bum.

I feel your pain. I have an LG G3. Everyone in the US got Marshmallow--except Sprint, who never deigned to tell us why they haven't released it.

Well, I still have the phone, although I retired it for a Nexus 5X a few weeks ago. I'd been using it for Google Fi since July; canceled the service a while ago and moved it to Sprint...a process that took 5 weeks, because even though Sprint supports the phone, none of their customer service people online or at stores can activate it, and it took forever to get through to a tech who could.

Replaced my 5X with an LG G5, because Best Buy had it on sale for $120. It's got a really good GPU--a huge improvement over the LG G3. Only real drawback is the battery isn't big enough.
