Someone's also started fansubbing Maicchingu Machiko Sensei. You remember, this one:
Sadly, it's not very good. But this is Japan, so it ran for 95 episodes and spawned at least two live-action spin-offs.

I count ten live-action DVDs on Amazon Japan, plus three porn parodies.
For something popular enough to have so many recent releases featuring amply-qualified actresses, it was surprisingly difficult to find out what the hell "maicchingu" actually means.
