1 I'm comfortable with how 1Password integrates with external tools in general; I moved my SSH keys into it quite a while ago, and use the various "op://" constructs to keep my API keys out of checked-in code. It's the GenAI agent side that concerns me, particularly the tendency of LLMs to treat user-defined restrictions as obstacles to be worked around.

"I need to update a file that I only have read access to, but I see that you have another agent running that has authorization to talk to a database server that runs as root, and that version of the API is vulnerable to a SQL injection attack, so I can instruct the other agent to make a query that gives me a root shell, allowing me to solve the user's problem!"

2 Arizona looks like a political compromise among Southwest deserty states pretty close to California's ports.

Silicon Valley, beyond historical reasons has a port on the Pacific.

In principle, the east coast is closer to the Netherlands, and thus to where the equipment is coming from.  My recollection is that it is densely populated, and certainly that land use might have strong competition.

California should be the place, for historical reasons, but California's political oligarchy is too crazy and too PRC simping to suffice.

Nevada and Arizona are next to California, but like California Nevada has put in fraud by mail for major elections.  Utah is too Republican (at the moment) for the Democrats to sign on, and New Mexico's Democrats are a bit too much.

Apple pies are delicious. But never mind apple pies. What colour is a green orange?
