1 "Google is betting on a future where your games are in the cloud."
Not just no, but hell no.

2 Why does Techdirt have such a stupid tiny font?!  (They're far from alone in this.  I love the Stylish extension.  Boop!  Your site is now black 12pt Segoe UI and actually readable!)

3 "In fact, you already share in the economic value generated by your data by getting to use all the amazing services you already use."
Yeah, I know I love being a product.

4 I was reading a comment thread yesterday where someone wondered if the end of the butterfly keys was related to Jony Ive's leaving Apple earlier this year.  Apparently he's the one who was obsessed with giving iDevices anorexia.

5 "The emails said that Matt’s videos "may have content owned or licensed by SonyATV, PeerMusic, Warner Chappell, Audiam and LatinAutor.”"
I said yesterday elsewhere you could almost certainly end the fake copyright claims to steal ad revenue by escrowing the ad revenue instead of giving it to the claimant.  At this point, though, Youtube should also punish people who make false claims.  Warner, you wanna pull this garbage?  Fine, you can't make copyright claims for a week.  Do it again, you lose the ability for a month.  Third strike?  Well, since Youtubers can lose their entire account, how about you lose, forever, the ability to make copyright claims?  (Or maybe make them pay to make a claim or something, I dunno.)

6 " active cooling."
Apparently, only if you are using multiple PCIe 4 devices?  I know I haven't heard the chipset fan once.

7 On the X570, it has (in theory) up to 12 downstream PCIe 4.0 lanes, so that's probably when the fan would become a requirement.

8 Google wants to bring the old style mainframe-and-terminal-interface-computing (Which has failed with the network computer concept from the 90s.) to gaming.

They also want to relieve players of having to actually play the game by having smart algorithms play the game for them, so...Lag will no longer be a problem!

Somehow, people at Google thought Stadia would not only work, but was worth throwing money at developing.

So...Yeah, Google are idiots.

9 The Googlers behind Stadia have clearly never tried Steam in-home streaming.

Apple pies are delicious. But never mind apple pies. What colour is a green orange?
