Anime Roundup

A very brief roundup, but with the mid-season blahs in full swing (I haven't yet looked at Tanya the Pretty Nice Girl planning to binge it once it's complete), I gave the first episode of Draw This, Then Die a try.

Yes.  More of this, please.

Noodling

What is surprising about this one is how dramatic it looks and how understated it is compared with what is going on in the story at this point.

Huh. Miriam managed to winkle Joshua out of his workshop.

This one turned out better than I was expecting. Grok has a real knack for drawing horrifying giant spiders. I wonder what it trained on.

1 The problem I have with AI based instruction, is if it catastrophically fails because of teacher badness, the teachers are again going to be collectively effective at selling a teacher problem as somehow not being the fault of teachers. The last twenty or more years of blacks being served badly by teachers is not society being racist, it is specifically problems with the teachers, down to the teacher's unions, the Democrats, and what the universities taught the teachers. The 1619 project was fundamentally wrong. This stuff is not stable on anywhere near the four hundred year timelines, but 'scholars' who are persuaded that learned mental behavior is stable over thousands of years are just personally really bad at teaching people how to think. They can teach people how not to think. They can demoralize people from trying. They can replace learning to think adn to do with learning to recite garbage by rote.
