I Got A New Router
Actually an integrated ADSL modem/router thingy - a Netgear N1000. With my old 834G I had seven network dropouts this morning; with the new one, no dropouts since lunchtime.
Not sure why it failed after years of faithful service, but it looks like it did.

There's a solar storm going on right now, a big one, and it's interfering with a lot of stuff.

Yeah, I heard about that, but my router problems seem to have been getting worse for the past couple of months. I suspect a failing capacitor or something like that.
