One by one, the anime ops and eds I put up on Youtube are disappearing, thanks to Youtube's new content-destroying bots. Pleh.
Just try to find the Haruhi opening on Youtube. There were hundreds of copies. Now there's one, and it's crap.
Pretty soon Youtube will be a wasteland of stupid pet videos and Google will be out the $3.5 squillion or whatever it was they spent.
Pleh, I say. Pleh.

After one awesome blockbuster hit, KyoAni pissed it all away with series after adequate-to-downright-awful series. There may be a new Haruhi series airing later this year, but after all Kadokowa's stupid tricks I won't believe it until I've actually seen the entire thing.
But the current season's K-On!, while not being (or trying to be) anything amazing, is nonetheless genuinely likeable and fun. And the opening and closing songs grow on you... Like some sort of fungus. The OP is currently stuck in my head and will not go away.
Recommended, with EWW (earworm warning).

Our hero and his maybe-girlfriend (aged 16-going-on-4) are plummeting to their deaths from the school clock tower whence they have been ejected by a perverted demon puppet, but are rescued in the nick of time by our brave (if scatterbrained) heroine wearing mechanical wings and a rocket pack (made by her little sister) - and a durian on her head - at the precise moment the Earth is undergoing a very near miss from a rather unlikely short-period comet.

Win.
I liked this show from the start, second only to Kannagi for this season, and it just keeps getting better.
One of the best things about it is that the characters are teenagers, but they're not idiots. There's a certain amount of angst, but they deal with it rather than wallowing in it. There's even character development, of all things.
