You mentioned adding some further image editing options to Minx
I just came across picnik.com via the Cool Tools feed (http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/001646.php)
Not sure it is something they plan to make available, but impressive for a web (flash of course) based utility.

Gotta say that documentation is a bit... confusing. Are these all based on something, or is it purely your invention? I ask in case there is external documentation that might help me understand how it comes together...

Once the manual comes together a bit, I'll post a guide to it.
