I haven't seen Nyaru-Ani, but hey, Nyarlathotep as a cute schoolgirl, what's not to like?
The first half of Angel Beats ep 1 might as well have been a slide show of MS-Paint GIFs. Well, MS-Paint GIFs overlaid on stock photography. The character artwork and animation was just terrible. And don't get me started on the dialogue or so-called story...

What's not to like? How about repeated stabbings of said cute schoolgirl with a fork by the apparent protagonist? The only reason we're given to think she's Nyarlathotep is the name. It's like those flash Haruhi shorts except not at all amusing. And shorter.
