Is that how much traffic you do? I knew you had some big users, but I thought there were just a handful of big ones (e.g. Ace, the Jawas).

And here I am, running about 8 gigabytes per month. I'm sure small-time.

2 Heh.  No, not yet.

Currently mu.nu is doing about 2.2TB per month.  But I'm working on the business plan for the new site - the commercial version of mu.nu.  I have a set of spreadsheets that do all the usual what-if stuff, revenues and costs based on customer and advertiser takeup, hardware requirements, bandwidth expenses, and so on.

I just ran my finger down the revenue column to the point where we hit one of our targets, and then converted the worst-case bandwidth cost back into actual traffic.  That's where the 0.5PB/month came from.
