Life

Freezing

Literally.  Zero degrees C overnight in my part of Sydney, and -3 in the western suburbs.  Not something that would fret those who live in temperate climes, but Sydney is subtropical; it hardly ever actually freezes here.

Brrrr.

Update: Official low at the closest government weather station was 1.4C last night, and a rather brisk -4C out in Richmond.

1 Huh, I thought you got snow there.
Wait...do you have heat?

2 We sometimes get snow in the Blue Mountains that border Sydney to the west, but basically never in the city itself.  (As in, yeah, it happened on one day in 1836 sort of thing.)

I don't have central heating; no-one does.  Air conditioning, yes, that's basic life support.  I do have a couple of little electric heaters, one of which is busy keeping my toes from falling off this morning.

Apple pies are delicious. But never mind apple pies. What colour is a green orange?
