It's a Good Thing

That I have a quad-core machine, because Safari's using two of them.

1 You just need a Mac instead. smile

More like, somehow even Apple's developers have issues writing for Windows.

2 I was running two copies of PeopleBrowsr with a total of 22 stacks open (I think).  That'll give any browser heartburn.  Going to talk to the client-side guys about that today.

3 I would have subscribed to your blog, except your RSS feed seems to be broken in a way that randomly truncates your posts. For example, this 13-word post is only 12 words long in the RSS feed.

I would have e-mailed this to you, but don't appear to have a contact address.

6 Can someone explain to me how to get my blog back "on" again?  I keep getting a message that my bandwidth is exceeded, and I've gone back and deleted a ton of old posts, but still nothing.  Thoughts?

You have to wait. Bandwidth isn't a function of how much stuff you have on the disk, it's a function of how many times people visit you. Once you've exceeded your bandwidth for the measurement period (probably monthly) then you'll be disabled until the next period begins (i.e. April).

Deleting posts will have no effect at all.

8 Thank you SOOOO much, Steven!  I think it might have something to do w/ the massive spam comments I'm getting.  Any suggestions there?

If you were being spammed, then the activity of the spambot would count against your monthly bandwidth limit.

When you start getting hammered, you should let Pixy know so he can block that particular IP or group of IPs.

10 Sorry Lawren!  I've bumped up your bandwidth and it should all be working fine now.

I'm not sure what is eating all your bandwidth - I suspect it's people hotlinking images from your blog.  I'll take a look at that today.
