The Most Useful And Elegant Site On The Web

No, not this, though it does run a close second if I say so myself.

1 I just got a new home page! Thanks.

Pixy, I loused something up. A couple of weeks ago I changed my formatting slightly so that the page was wider, so that I could display 800*600 pictures without them being clipped.

Just now I wanted to delete a couple of comments (because they were misformatted, not because they were abusive; no urgency here) and when I went into the comment control frame to do it, the check boxes for the comments had fallen off the right side of the page so I couldn't.

Help? What did I do wrong? How can I fix it? (How about putting the check box on the left instead of the right, for instance?)

That is a very, very good idea. smile

4 Meanwhile, it's probably the misformatted comment screwing up the comment control page.  Try reducing the text size until the check box shows up.  I had my CSS set up so that this didn't happen, but somehow it got broken.

5 With IE7, reducing the text size to "smallest" did bring things in from the right, but not enough to make the check boxes accessible. I'm going to try Firefox next.

6 I don't have to do anything with Firefox; it does its wrapping better, and the check boxes are readily available.

7 I feel stupid asking this, because I've done it a lot of times: how do I create a new category? I can't find the menu that does it. (I looked everywhere!)

8 Categories are folders. smile

The new version of Minx will have separate menu options for the standard types of folder to make it easier.

9 OK, I missed the "new" button on that page. Thanks!
